Brian Dawkins number retired

Before the game tonight, Brian Dawkins No.20 jersey was retired in a pre-game ceremony.  People watching the game in person and from their televisions had the honor of seeing him introduced with the team, as he came out of the tunnel wearing his Eagles green, Lincoln Financial Field was roaring.  This is officially the last time we will see the legend come out of the tunnel as he put on a show for the fans doing his trademark crawl.  Dawkins will forever be an Eagle, his passion for the game was a perfect fit for the city of brotherly love.  His relentlessness on the field and the many memories he brought to the city will never be forgotten.  This man is the best Eagle to play the game in my lifetime.  Growing up and watching this man has been a pleasure.  He motivated me to play the game, and play the game hard, just like him.  The guy known as Weapon X will forever be an Eagle.
