Many people believe that Eagles Head Coach Andy Reid should be run out of town after this disappointing season. I on the other hand, do not believe it should happen. The guy knows how to win. This season, the players didn't perform on the field. The coach can't make someone play better, that's all on the players. The players need to hold themselves and each other accountable for their performance on the field. Do you guys think Andy Reid should be fired?
With so many seasons without much winning I'd say yes, he should be fired. While this post does put the team into perspective, it does not count for every season he has been with the Eagles and the players have performed. Then again I can't claim to know football as well as the sports fanatic or just a football fan in general but that is what I have observed.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you, a coach is severely limited when it actually comes down to the performance of their athletes. They can run plays for hours and discuss tactics, however if the players do not perform to their upmost ability there is simply nothing the coach can do. Maybe the Eagles players need to find their heart and love for the game.. seems like this season they were just going through the motions. However, rarely can people take responsibility for their own actions -- it is always easier to point a finger at someone else and shift the blame.
